Docucom AG with headquarters in Rapperswil-Jona was created from the sole proprietorship founded by Robert and Claudia Reichmuth in 1991 by the name of Reichmuth Informatik. From the very beginning, the company specialized in output management solutions.
In the meantime, Docucom AG has become one of the largest providers of software and services in the area of omni-channel document process management and market leader in archive migration in Switzerland.
Our longstanding core competency of integrating and standardizing complex best-of-breed applications in open architecture made us very successful. These integration services also became the basis of the next pillar of the company – «archive migration».
In the late 90’s, demand for CCM applications increased. We therefore developed parallel solutions for collaborative document processing, with a strategic focus on consistent separation of content and presentation.
After years of integration, we realized that while there were many manufacturers and solutions for output and document management, there was no solution that combined the two processes. Consequently, the idea and desire to develop our own product for omni-channel document process management took shape. 2012 marks the development start of «Domtrac».
